Kato Lubwama is a prominent Ugandan comedian, actor, and politician. He was born on September 16, 1968, in Uganda and attended Makerere University in Kampala, where he graduated with a degree in philosophy. Kato Lubwama started his entertainment career as a comedian, where he entertained audiences through comedy sketches and stage performances. He then transitioned into acting, where he played roles in various Ugandan productions, including films, television dramas, and stage plays.
In 2016, Kato Lubwama entered politics and was elected as a member of parliament for the Lubaga South constituency in the Ugandan parliament. He is a member of the National Resistance Movement political party and has been actively involved in the political scene in Uganda. In addition to his role in parliament, Kato Lubwama has continued to perform as a comedian and actor, and has been recognized for his contributions to the entertainment industry in Uganda.
